MOCCA Cosmetics, also known as MOCCA Makeup & Skincare, was established in June of 2002 in Dallas, Texas by CEO Kena Williams and cousin Eb Williams. Over a 10 year span this duo traveled from Texas to Louisiana and Florida growing the brand at conventions and on celebrity platforms. Building a huge customer base of women that liked to look natural.
In 2015 MOCCA was rebranded under the sole ownership of founding CEO Kena Williams, who took the company on a national level. Offering the opportunity for self employment through consultant base businesses, the consultant base grew from 10-over 50. These ladies, and some men, were able to add additional income by buying the MOCCA products wholesale and reselling them retail.
Philanthropy
The company also expanded to include more community involvement through Kena Williams philanthropic personality, launching MOCCA Makes A Difference Kidney Foundation to help people on dialysis.
The Gloria’s Botanical Line funds the activities and donations provided to the dialysis patients. Under the guidance of her sister, Anessa Nelson, this non-profit organization is helping so many people.

During the pandemic, MOCCA Makeup and Skincare opened its first brick and mortar location in Red Oak, just outside of Dallas Texas. This building has taken the city by storm, adding a multicultural approach to cosmetics! Offering glamour makeovers by celebrity makeup artist Kaeli Nelson and Kayla Baccus.
In January of 2023 MOCCA, expanded once again, launching its new international website maintained by Javin Vining, son of the CEO.
